About us

Quintessence AI is a private research centre dedicated to investigating the deep impacts of AI and digital technologies on society, as well as to disseminating scientific advances to the largest audience. We leverage transdisciplinary research methods to produce pioneering approaches and new types of scientific knowledge capable of embracing the complexity of the digital world.

While research is our main activity, we do not believe that it ends with the publication of academic papers. This is why we use a range of dissemination channels to inform governments, private organisations and civil society about our research findings, helping decision-makers and individuals navigate the current information noise.

Our missions

01

Produce the kind of research nobody else will

A home for unconventional researchers willing to develop pioneering approaches and transdisciplinary methods, mixing psychology and statistics, philosophy and computer science, anthropology and neuroscience to explore novel approaches at the intersection of disciplines.

02

Inform society to guide decisions

We build dissemination channels to inform governments, private organisations and populations about scientific advances on critical topics. RITUAL, our digital training initiative, aims to train one million Europeans to use AI ethically and lawfully.

03

Develop applications that benefit society

We support researchers willing to engage in impact-driven research with direct benefits for society. We develop practical methodologies and concrete applications that can help protect individuals and shape the future.
